Lasting from a few days, it can last to a few weeks. This is one of the common causes that could result in one experiencing dizziness. Other notable symptoms of this injury can include a headache, confusion, fatigue, mood swings, memory loss, vomiting or nausea, balance problems, and doubled or blurred vision.

Iron-deficiency anemia (IDA)

A lack or deficiency of iron in the body is one of the common causes of dizziness. Other symptoms of an iron deficiency in the body include chest pain, breath shortness, yellowish or pale skin, rapid heartbeat, hair loss or brittle nails, and a pounding noise in the ears. Often, pregnant women, women having heavy periods, vegetarians, and people who just lost quite an amount of blood are most at the risk of IDA.

Chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS)
Doing everyday tasks may become difficult due to this condition. It can be referred to as myalgic encephalomyelitis as well. Other than the main symptoms like dizziness or fatigue, CFS has several other symptoms such as a sore throat, sleep problems, headaches, joint or muscle pain, irregular or fast heartbeat, difficulty in concentrating, remembering, and thinking.

A migraine is one type of a pounding and throbbing headache that could result in dizziness. Lasting from a few hours to several days, it affects different people in different ways. Vomiting, nausea, and feeling sensitive to sound and light are some of the other common symptoms of a migraine.

Hypoglycemia
If the glucose level in the blood drops below the normal level, low blood sugar or hypoglycemia could occur. This is one of the common causes of dizziness, mostly among insulin-dependent diabetes patients. Other than fatigue and dizziness, other symptoms of having hypoglycemia are excessive sweating, being jittery or shaky, headache, hunger, blurred vision, weakness, confusion, not being able to concentrate, irregular or fast heartbeat, and poor coordination.

Making a few healthy habits as the part of your daily routine can help you to get rid of this dizziness. However, under severe conditions, it is advisable to take proper medications under the guidance of a healthcare professional.
